KIA Monument
|
Veterans from
all branches of service are honored in Morgan County, (Martinsville,
Indiana.) Monuments, memorials and a museum
are established to remind everyone of the sacrifice given by our United
States military veterans. Any United States veteran can be honored with the
purchase of a commemorative brick that will be laid
in the memorial park. Flags wave in the breezes over the two
beautiful monuments that honor veterans. The KIA monument honors Morgan County veterans that
were KIA in the wars of the 20th Century.
|
| The second
monument, the All Veterans Monument,
honors the United States veterans in all wars. Visit Morgan County,
(Martinsville, Indiana) and spend quiet and reflective time in this
memorial park that is home to these two veterans’ monuments. Monetary donations
are now being accepted to establish a veterans’ museum
that will be located adjacent to the memorial park at 95 East Washington
Street in downtown Martinsville, Indiana.
